Liffey River, Night

One of my last nights in Ireland, I was feeling a certain sense of... depression. This was taken from the Connell street bridge, on the same day that they were supposed to be reinacting vikings landing in their longboats, or some such thing.

I missed the longboat event.. but I was trying to get some dinner, and just wandering around. I eventually settled on a resturant in the Temple Bar just south of here.

However, more on the image.. The sun was setting, and I thought that it just looked lovely. It took a bit of playing around with the settings to get an image that looked as much like what I was seeing as possible. Regular settings set off the flash and washed everything out. Others were too dark, or blurry.

I was very glad this turned out... it's deffinately one of the favorite of all the images I've ever taken.
